09. JILL DE JONG (2002-2004)
Jill de Jong, also known as Jildou de Jong (born February 17, 1982) is a Dutch model and actress. Born in Hoogeveen, Drenthe, she began her career as a model at the age of fifteen after winning a modeling contest in the Netherlands. On March 21, 2002, she was selected by Eidos Interactive as the Lara Croft character model for the Tomb Raider video game series.
10. KARIMA ADEBIBE (2006-2008)
Karima Adebibe (born 14 February 1985) is an English actress and fashion model. Formerly a secretary, she was selected on 14 February 2006 (both her birthday and that of Lara Croft) to be the seventh model for Lara Croft in the popular video game series Tomb Raider. The role involved promoting the game series “in-character” on television and radio, so Adebibe underwent training in Lara Croft’s trademark skills, from martial arts to elocution. She retired from the role of Lara Croft in 2008.
11. ALLISON CARROL (2008-2010)
Alison Carrol (born 27 March 1985) is an English gymnast, model, and actress. Alison Carrol was born in Croydon, Surrey in England. She trained at the Urdang Academy in Musical Theatre and graduated in 2007 with a Distinction. In August 2008, when working as a receptionist at a golf club, she was announced as the new Lara Croft model for the latest video game featuring the heroine, Tomb Raider: Underworld. Carrol replaced previous Lara model Karima Adebibe, who retired from the role earlier in the year. Carrol held the position until 2010, and is the final official Lara Croft model.
