The Ukrainian people gave an example of how to fight a corrupt, criminal and oppressive government, and especially an example of how to bring it down. The Ukrainian revolution is a model and inspiration for other oppressed and exploited people to rise up against their oppressors – Venezuela, Egypt, Syria, Brazil, Mexico and wherever else there is injustice, oppression and worms like Viktor Yanukovych, a fascist worm who thought he could exploit and humiliate the people just because he had an institutionalized militia under his command.

Manhunt for Ukraine’s deposed president as he is accused of ‘mass murder’ of civilians after protester deaths – but he may already be safe in hands of Russian forces. Last facts:

1. Acting interior minister Arsen Avakov says on his Facebook profile Viktor Yanukovich is a wanted man
2. He was reportedly last seen in Sevastopol, a port on Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula
3. But extraordinary claims have emerged today that he was sneaked out of the port by Russia
4. It comes as official reveals EU could coordinate $35bn in aid Ukraine says it needs
5. Meanwhile, the Russian press describes the fall of the Ukrainian president as a coup d’etat
6. Russia has also recalled its ambassador in Ukraine for consultations on the ‘deteriorating situation’

A.C.A.B. Ukraine

Riot police in Ukraine fell to their knees to ask for forgiveness for their colleagues who shot and beat antigovernment protesters in the recent Kiev massacre. The extraordinary scenes in Lviv involved the Berkut elite anti-riot force whose members had returned from duty in the capital. They apologised on a stage in front of pro-Europe protesters.

‘I am asking you to forgive us,’ said an officer who stood in front of other men. In memory of those who were killed, we want to kneel down.’ The officers were greeted with chants of ‘Shame!’ and ‘Tribunal’ but they stressed they had not killed or beaten people themselves.

The December issue of the British magazine Nuts listed the 100 sexiest women on the planet in 2013 after an election that was attended by about 1.2 million votes. The first place went to busty model Joey Fisher.

See photos of Joey here. You can download the full Nuts magazine special edition by Torrent if you have the uTorrent. If not, you can see the full list at next. Do you agreed? Do not agreed? International Cat’s Day?

Well, in many countries there are different days to celebrate this date. For example, World Cat Day is celebrating on 17th February in many countries, as well is on AUgust 8, date most known as the official World Cat Day. Searching on the Internet, I found others dates recognized as World Cat Day: in Russia falls on March 1st, and in the U.S. on October 29.

But for cats, kittens and the people of the Internet, every day is cat day – which is why it came as a surprise to some of us that an “International Cat Day” actually exists! Yes, and they say is today 20th February.

International Cat Day was officially created in 2009, thanks to the efforts of cat lovers on social-networking sites, especially Facebook and Twitter, who wanted to educate people about how to correctly care for felines and promote the animals’ rights in light of abuse and abandonment.

The date marks the death on February 20, 2009, of Socks, the most famous cat to live in the White House, who moved into the presidential residence with Bill Clinton’s family in 1993. The tuxedo cat, who was adopted by first daughter Chelsea Clinton when her father was governor of Arkansas, became a media darling, with his image being used to raise money for animal shelters.

Socks went to live with the former president’s secretary, Betty Currie, when the Clintons left the White House. Curry had Socks euthanized in 2009, when he was 19 or 20, because he was suffering from kidney problems, a thyroid condition and cancer of the mouth and jaw.

OK, let’s go to celebrate! Happy International Cat’s Day!

VVS: Say NO to vertical videos

Recently I watched a video recorded by a smartphone and I realized how awkward and uncomfortable is for us to see a video in vertical position – I say, not we in vertical, but the video that was recorded vertically. Then I remembered a campaign launched two years ago and now I decided to join. I take this opportunity to ask of all smartphone owners to join the campaign against the VVS (Vertical Video Syndrome) and Say No To Vertical Videos.

Not only are the thick black pillarbox bars on either side of the video extremely annoying, but the human eyes are designed to see the world in widescreen. That’s why they sit side-by-side, and not on top of each other. And sure, sometimes it’s just easier to hold your phone vertically in one hand to capture a scene. But if you take the extra second to turn it sideways and use two hands, you’ll capture loads more resolution and the footage won’t look like you’re riding out an earthquake.

Seriously, though — turn your freaking phone sideways. How hard is that?
